Read how Molly and her dog, Ziggi, were traveling through Memphis and found the emergency care they needed at Animal Emergency Center, 2000 miles from home.
What Happened
My husband and I were traveling across the states with our two dogs. We stopped in Memphis for the night and discovered our dog, Ziggi, was bleeding from her paw. My husband bandaged her up but I was worried about infection so I searched for 24 hour animal care. I found Animal Emergency Center and we headed to the location.
How Animal Emergency Center Helped
We were taken back after just 5 minutes of being in the lobby. Ziggi's vitals were taken and Dr. Ambrose conducted Ziggi's examination. Ziggi had a superficial cut on her paw. The staff bandaged her quickly and precisely. The staff was caring and knowledgable.
We were on our way out after only around 40 minutes with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication. The doctor even created a waterproof booty to put on Ziggi's foot when we walked her in the rain.
When I saw my dog in pain, 2000 miles from home, and at an hour that any normal Veterinarian office would be closed I was frantic but I found so much comfort at this emergency center. Our dogs are our children and it was so nice to have the care Ziggi needed in such a difficult situation. Thank you to Dr. Ambrose and the staff for treating my sweet baby, Ziggi.
